Celebrate Easter with Garden Homes Lutheran Church:

Forensics Festival Success
Winter and Devin represented GHLS at the WLHS Federation Forensics Festival. Devin earned a first place blue ribbon in storytelling and Winter earned a second place red ribbon in radio speaking. Congratulations to both students and a thank you to Mrs. Kroll for coaching all the forensics participants this year!
Classroom Spotlight – K4 - Mrs. Burton
K4 loved their bowling field trip. In class, we discussed how many pins they needed to knock down to get a strike. They enjoyed physical activity, social interaction, and learning about a new environment.
Classroom Spotlight – Third Grade - Mr. Bauer
The third grade classroom is preparing their hearts for our Savior’s sacrificial death on the cross on Good Friday. We are doing this by making Good Friday crosses out of wood, nails and yarn. Special thanks to the WISCO shop class for cutting and sanding the wood for our project.
Blood Drive at GHLS
Garden Homes is again partnering with Versiti Blood Centers to promote awareness of the life saving power of blood donations. On Friday, April 11th, Versiti nurses will be on site to accept blood donations. Time slots are still available. Contact sbauer@gardenhomeslutheran.org to participate.
