Back To School Backyard BBQ Recap
To celebrate the first week back to school, over 150 students joined in the fun after school on Friday, August 23. The students and their families enjoyed racing through a massive bounce house, numerous carnival games, and even took turns trying to soak the teachers in the dunk tank. Thank you to everyone who came and made the event a splash.
Soccer and Volleyball Seasons Begin
The first sports seasons of the year are off to a strong start. Our co-ed 5th-8th grade soccer team and our girl’s A and B volleyball teams are working hard with their first games right around the corner. See the September calendar for game times and come cheer on our awesome student-athletes.
Seal-A-Smile
Garden Homes has partnered for several years with the “Seal-A-Smile” program that provides free cleanings and sealants for our students. The dental hygienists will be in our building September 9th-12th to service students who have permission slips on file.
Grades 1-4 “Starbooks” Reading Café Night
The first through fourth graders are eager to show off their reading and hospitality skills for their parents on Friday, September 20th from 5:00PM-6:00PM. Come and enjoy a coffee and treat and support your student’s literacy.
Worship & Bible Study Invitation
Garden Homes Lutheran Church holds worship services every Sunday at 9:00AM followed by adult and youth bible studies at 10:30AM. All are welcome to come and be encouraged by the good news of Jesus.
